I went to Suzumushi-dera in Arashiyama, Kyoto. I listened to the sermon, received the charm, and made my prayer.
Some time afterward, a person appeared in my life — someone who, by their very presence, made me feel I could finally let go of the past clearly and gently. We started dating, then married.
After meeting him, I returned to Suzumushi-dera to thank the Jizo and return the prayer card. The visit felt like closing a chapter and opening a new one in the same breath.
